I am a 4th year student in the BBSEM program. I obtained my B.S from Earlham College and joined the Zhang Lab in the summer of 2021. My research interests include fungal genetics and the application of fungal biomass degradation pathways towards improved bioremediation technologies with a focus on per and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFAS). Outside of the lab, my interests include gardening, cooking, and camping.

I am a second year PhD student in Devanshi Khokhani's Lab. I study the interactions  of plants, mycorrhizal fungi, and bacteria. I love learning about Fungi in all contexts. Outside of the lab I continue to be interested with soil through gardening, forest foraging, and have started a microbial DnD campaign! I also love the gym and staying active in all kinds of creative ways.
